This stunning hand-coloured reproduction of Cook's 1772 Chart of New Zealand is printed on archival quality fine art paper and ready to frame.

Lieut. James Cook was an expert cartographer as well as a skilled navigator and experienced ship's captain. Aboard his ship, the "Endeavour", he circumnavigated and charted the three islands. Although he made a few errors – he charted Banks Peninsula as an island and speculated that Stewart Island was a peninsula – the accuracy of his chart is outstanding.
